from its value, to medium of exchange, unit of account, salability, scarcity, neutrality, it is everything that makes you look away from the USD.
This is a comedic take on how much electricity is used for mining servers to provide proof of work. I watched a Vice video where a guy moved to Iceland and build a warehouse to house 40,000 mining servers in because the electricity costs just to keep the servers cool enough was more expensive in other warmer places than the amount of bitcoin they could successfully mine.
Find or create a meme that communicates an aspect of bitcoin (i.e… monetary properties, monetary policy, proof of work or neutrality). Post the meme/gif or a link and add a 1-2 sentence description of what aspect it communicates and why you think it’s effective.
The current financial system is corrupt and running out of time, people are waking up and realizing it. Bitcoin gets more and more coverage every day, we just have to sit back and watch adoption.
This meme sums up the concept at the base of this course.
You may buy stock, gold or bitcoin. And you may not understand what MONEY is.
However, whoever understands what MONEY is, then starts owning bitcoin.
This is the end of the course. This is the concept we all should understand.
Bitcoin was designed to facilitate peer-to-peer online transactions, it is a good store of value asset, maybe next gold 2.0…
Bitcoin was plated in the middle of 2008 financial crisis because at that time people lost faith in the institutions ( Central Bank etc…).
The biggest advantage presented by bitcoin — or to be more precise, the underlying blockchain technology — comes in the form of creating a completely transparent trading system.
If you understand that todays money is currency you own and see the value in btc and that it represents real hard sound money
The common commentary of those who either cannot understand BTC or those who don’t want to lose their power the fiat currencies give them (you know, those at the top of banking), “it’s a bubble” reminds me of other arguments I keep hearing: “vegan is too extreme”, “of course NASA is telling the truth, why would they lie?,” and the all too common phrase right now, “But science!” (having never conducted an experiment nor read a research paper in their lives). They’re all from either ignorance, or positions of control that like the status quo. BTC is such a wonderful tool for leading us away from the paths that create all these ridiculous comments.
This speaks to how older generations are uncomfortable with the change in monetary policy that bitcoin is bringing to the world. People fear what they are not familiar with.
don’t listen to FA when it comes to BTC , because they know nothing. educate yourself and make the right decision yourself.
I like the fact that it’s decentralised and hard to be manipulated by a single entity or any entities because it’s transparent. Think of the 1929 Great Depression.
If you want a free World, Own a Bitcoin!
If you want a Bitcoin(Ivan OnTech)educate yourself!
Special thanks: to Ivan for holding this academy for (all) Us! , to: all thoes wonderful memes on this thread, also to : Chadrickm, whos meme i shared and contributed to.
BTC sees nobody, listens to nobody and responds to everybody.
I believe Corvid Explained to us better then ever our current value system and why we need Bitcoin
