While this video is about ETH, it does an excellent job describing the volatility aspect of bitcoin. In this video, a curious investor decides to get started in investing but is immediately met with what ever investor has done at least once in their lives. Reacting to the market based on emotions. The age old concept of buying HIGH and selling low. It also highlights the unpredictability of the market and the anonymity of large-scale bitcoin holders.

1. This communicates Bitcoin as the ultimate store of wealth. It shows that once it starts being horded widely it will drive up the price significantly. Then in will stabilize at a free market level and be used to back other second layer faster moneys.

When J. Dimon was telling to the World, that Bitcoin is a fraud, at JP Morgan have been researching and silently investing into crypto. Shows that there will be the fight. Big money doesn’t like competition.

Bitcoin exists with no central authority or jurisdiction. It is also not part of the legacy financial system. This makes it difficult for governments to police and control it.

This shows that fiat is often abused and easy to do so while Bitcoin is much harder to do so.

The monetary value of bitcoin is much stronger than fiat. Fiat value is determind by an unsustainable inflation rate brought on by a higher authority, and bitcoin accounts for the lose of value of these fiats by “rising” in value.

After completing this course it is SO CLEAR why the fed, bankers and other financial institutions don’t like Bitcoin. They are simply not needed anymore when Bitcoin replaces the current monies.

Speaks to the monetary properties of BTC vs Fiat. Most people have more faith in Fiat currency than in Cryptocurrency. When taking a closer look (like in this course) we see that Bitcoin has so many properties that are actually more trustworthy than fiat.
