An exact price is difficult to give because the price of the yellow metal, usually quoted in troy ounces, is constantly changing. Plus, to further complicate the calculation, there are three different measurements using the term ‘tons’. I live in Malaysia and based on the link given, my country has approx. 38.88 tonnes of gold. Multiplying 38.88 tonnes to 54,817.02 USD per kg of gold as of today (12/3/2021) is about 2131285737.6 USD or roughly 2.13 billion USD worth of gold is stored in Malaysia’s central bank
